Niharika Konidela’s Pink Elephant Pictures has announced Pocket Rockkets, an urban drama written and directed by Rudra Atri, in association with Maximum City Studios. Starring Trinadh Varma of Committee Kurrollu fame, debutant Nirmal, Shriya Kontham of Shubham and JD Chakravarthy in a pivotal role, the film has completed shooting and is currently in post-production.

Pocket Rockkets revolves around a brilliant student from an underprivileged background who dreams of pursuing higher studies abroad. Struggling to meet the financial requirements, he turns to gambling and catches the attention of a manipulative gambling shark. The story explores the risks he takes to fulfil his ambitions and the consequences of choices that could compromise his values.

The film is produced by Padmaja Konidela, Rahul Raghavendra and Rahul Nimmakuri, with Ramesh Manyam serving as executive producer. Edurolu Raju handles cinematography, Gyaani composes the music, Anwar Ali is the editor, and Vishnu Vardhan Pulla serves as production designer. The technical team also includes Rajesh Lanka for action choreography and JD as choreographer, alongside several other crew members.

Pocket Rockkets adds to Pink Elephant Pictures’ feature-film slate. The banner previously produced Committee Kurrollu, directed by Yadhu Vamsi, which won Best Telugu Film at the 72nd National Film Awards. The makers are expected to announce the release date and further details of Pocket Rockets soon.
