Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram are coming together for the first time with Anil Ravipudi, and the film has now got a title that instantly establishes its festive mood. The movie is titled January 12 Vidudala, with the caption “Bava Bammardi Soujanyamtho.” It brings to mind Vamsy classic April 1 Vidudala. 

Well, Anil did give tribute to EVV Satyanrayana following how he used Jandhyala's popular scene for GV Prakash announcement video. He used Appula Apparao famous scene an introduced the title. Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty repeatedly ask the director about the title, but he keeps responding with “January 12 Vidudala.”

Venkatesh eventually realizes that Anil has turned the film’s release date into its title. We can say that Anil Ravipudi gave tribute to two Rajendra Prasad films at one go. 

Interestingly, the title follows his recent trend of naming films with titles like Sankrantiki Vasthunnam, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu Pandakki Vasthunnaru and now, directly, release date in title. He seems to have grabbed Sankranti season on his name and this time though he might have to face though competition with 5-6 films eyeing the season crown. 

Sahu Garapati is producing this film, while Suresh Productions, Archana and Zee Studios are presenting it. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music. The film shoot is progressing at a rapid pace and is set for worldwide release on January 12th. More details will be announced by the makers in coming days.
