Sree Vishnu’s entertainer Comrade Kalyan has locked its theatrical release date. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on October 9, positioning it in the festive season and giving the Sree Vishnu starrer a clear date on the theatrical calendar.

The release announcement poster presents Sree Vishnu in a rugged, revolutionary avatar, surrounded by a group of comrades in a forest setting. The dark-green costumes, red scarves and weapons give the film a distinctly mass-oriented visual identity and suggest that the actor is stepping into a different kind of role.

Directed by Janakiram Marella, Comrade Kalyan is produced by Venkata Krishna Karthi and Seetha Karnati. Vijay Bulganin is composing the music for the film.

The pre-Dussera date gives the film an extended festive opportunity at the box office, particularly as audiences look for new theatrical options during the holiday period.
