Jr NTR has successfully undergone shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad, with the hospital confirming that the procedure was completely successful. The actor sustained a shoulder injury recently and, following consultations and follow-up care with medical specialists, was advised to undergo arthroscopic surgery for a quicker and more complete recovery.

According to the health bulletin issued by KIMS on August 12, the surgery was performed by a team of orthopaedic surgeons led by Dr. R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi, Dr. Nithin Bejjanki, Dr. Madhusudan Rao and Dr. Srinivas Rao Surapaneni. NTR is currently doing well and will begin a structured rehabilitation programme under medical supervision. The doctors expect him to return to his normal self within two to three months.

Following the hospital's update, Jr NTR also took to social media to personally thank his fans, friends and family for their support and prayers. The actor confirmed that his surgery was successful and assured everyone that he is doing well.
