Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni's debut film Srinivasa Mangapuram has locked a new release date. The romantic action entertainer, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, will now hit theatres on July 30. The makers had initially planned to release the film on July 9, but decided to postpone it to avoid a box office clash with Akhil Akkineni's Lenin.

Ever since its promotional material was unveiled, Srinivasa Mangapuram has generated decent buzz. Jaya Krishna, carrying forward the legacy of Superstar Krishna and Mahesh Babu, has impressed with his screen presence, action sequences and dancing abilities. The film is expected to be his first major test as a lead actor.

Another major attraction is Rasha Thadani, daughter of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, who is making her Telugu debut with the film. Her traditional South Indian look, energetic dance moves and chemistry with Jaya Krishna have become talking points among movie buffs, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.

Veteran actor Mohan Babu plays a pivotal role in the film, while director Ajay Bhupathi is said to have blended romance and action against the backdrop of Tirupati and Chittoor. Presented by veteran producer Ashwini Dutt, the film features music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

With post-production work progressing at a brisk pace, the makers are gearing up to begin the final phase of promotions. A trailer and more promotional content are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
