Suriya has officially joined hands once again with director TJ Gnanavel, the filmmaker behind the critically acclaimed Jai Bhim, for a new Pan-India project backed by Hombale Films. The reunion comes at a time when Suriya is riding high on the success of Karuppu. 

Hombale Films Founder Vijay Kiragandur talking about the film said, “At Hombale Films, we have always believed that powerful cinema is born when passionate people come together with a shared vision. Collaborating with Suriya and T. J. Gnanavel is a step towards telling a story that is honest, meaningful, and will connect with audiences across the world.” 

While the makers have kept plot details under wraps, the new venture is expected to be a gritty drama with commercial elements, aiming to strike a balance between intense storytelling and mainstream entertainment. The project is expected to be mounted on a grand scale, making it one of the actor's most anticipated upcoming films.

Praising Suriya, the production house wrote, "He built it. Frame by frame. Film by film. Fight by fight. Roles that bled truth. Characters that carried the weight of real lives. A journey defined by courage, conviction, and craft." Continuing to praise him, they wrote, "Three decades of truth on screen. Countless hearts touched beyond it. Now, the most fearless actor of his generation steps onto his grandest stage yet."

Sai Abhyankkar who scored music for Karuppu is composing music for the film and more details about the cast and crew will be revealed soon.
