Malayalam megastar Mammootty added another milestone to his illustrious journey by receiving the Padma Bhushan. Veteran Telugu actor Rajendra Prasad, celebrated for his comic brilliance and versatility, was also among the honoured names.

Since the legendary actor passed away attend the ceremony in person, actress and parliamentarian Hema Malini received the award on his behalf, making it one of the most memorable highlights of the event. Similarly, popular comic artist Satish Shah received Padma Shri postumously.
