Satyadev has built a reputation for taking unconventional roles and Rao Bahadur looks set to continue that trend. Directed by Venkatesh Maha and presented by Mahesh Babu, the upcoming psychological drama has already generated strong curiosity with its trailer and first single Sundari. With the film gearing up for release on July 3rd, the makers have now unveiled the second single, Desa Sanchari.

Unlike conventional promotional songs, Desa Sanchari embraces an old-school rock and roll identity while giving it a visually theatrical presentation. The track acts as a tribute to retro music and vintage performance styles, while still fitting into the dark and immersive world that the film appears to promise.

One of the biggest highlights of the song is Satyadev’s surprising screen transformation. Styled with shades reminiscent of classic rock performers, the actor takes on demanding ballroom-inspired choreography with confidence and fluidity. The entire song being staged inside a cage adds an unusual visual texture and reflects Venkatesh Maha’s attempt to create something symbolic rather than straightforward.

Musically, Smaran Sai delivers a composition packed with rhythm and energy while balancing retro influences with contemporary presentation. Hemachandra’s deep vocal texture drives the track effectively and Priyanka Gajanan’s voice adds additional character to the arrangement. The choreography further enhances the mood by focusing on movement, poses and flexibility rather than large-scale spectacle. Produced by Anurag Reddy, Sharath Chandra and Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, Rao Bahadur is positioning itself as a psychological drama with a distinctive visual and musical identity.
