Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade are teaming up for a new courtroom drama titled The India Story. The makers recently released the first official poster, which establishes the film's central theme of food adulteration.
The visual features Aggarwal playing a lawyer and Talpade as a father fighting for his young daughter. A prominent detail in the poster is a pesticide cylinder placed inside a witness box at the Bombay High Court, indicating that the plot will focus heavily on the legal and human consequences of this public health issue.

Directed by Chettan DK and written and produced by Sagar B Shinde, the movie steps away from standard commercial tropes to address the real-world dangers associated with everyday food consumption. It looks like a narrative grounded in a crisis that affects regular families across the country.
Zee Studios and MIG Production & Studios are backing the project. The India Story is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 24, 2026, and will be available in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
