Putting an end to speculation around the release plans, Nagarjuna officially confirmed that Lenin has been postponed and announced a new release date for the film. Sharing the update, Nagarjuna revealed that the team personally approached him requesting additional time to complete the film without compromise. 

According to him, their confidence and commitment to delivering a stronger final product convinced him to agree to the delay. “Team Lenin came to me with a request. They asked for a little more time to give their absolute 100% and create something very special. Their passion and spirit made me say yes,” he shared. 

At the same time, Nagarjuna assured fans that the wait would be worthwhile and confirmed that the film will now arrive on July 10. His message carried another interesting line that immediately caught fan attention — “మనోడు 10th July వస్తున్నాడు. I say again you will see a new Akhil!!”

That statement has once again raised expectations around Akhil Akkineni’s transformation and the film’s overall approach. Bhagyashri Borse is playing leading lady and Naga Vamshi is producing it with Nag. The project has already generated curiosity as an important release in Akhil’s career, and the team now appears focused on using the extra time to strengthen the final output before bringing it to theatres.
