Sharwanand is currently shooting for his upcoming pan-India film, Bhogi, directed by Sampath Nandi. Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, the film is a period action drama set in the early 1960s. The story takes place in a fictional village located on the border of Telangana and Maharashtra.
The production team is presently filming a major action sequence for the movie's climax. This 20-day schedule is taking place on a large set built by art director Kiran Kumar Manne. Stunt choreographer Dilip Subbarayan is directing the action scenes, which feature Sharwa performing several high-risk stunts.
Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi are playing the female leads in the project. The makers recently released the first-look posters for both Sharwa and Anupama, introducing their rustic looks for the period setting.
Bhogi is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 28, coinciding with the Raksha Bandhan festival. The film will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
