Nagabandham Teaser to be unveiled for Mahasivaratri

on Feb 2, 2026

The excitement surrounding Abhishek Nama’s socio-fantasy magnum opus, Nagabandham, has reached a fever pitch as the film nears the finish line. Positioned as one of the most ambitious pan-Indian projects of 2026, the movie explores the deep-rooted myths of India’s ancient Vishnu temples, focusing on the legendary Nagabandham ritual used to safeguard divine treasures. The production has consistently made headlines for its scale, notably for a massive climax sequence filmed at Ramanaidu Studios that reportedly cost a whopping ₹20 crores.

Virat Karrna stars as the protagonist, Rudhra, alongside Nabha Natesh, who portrays the graceful character of Parvati. Iswarya Menon also joins the ensemble in a lead role, supported by veteran actors like Jagapathi Babu and Murali Sharma. To maintain the authenticity of the mythical setting, production designer Ashok Kumar erected grand sets, including a circular formation of giant Dasavatharam idols and a replica of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, ensuring the film delivers an unparalleled visual spectacle.

In a thrilling update for fans, the makers have officially confirmed that the film’s teaser will debut on February 15th, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Mahasivaratri. The announcement was accompanied by a powerful poster featuring a majestic cobra coiled protectively around a secret temple vault, hinting at the high-stakes adventure and spiritual mystery that awaits. Produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy, Nagabandham is slated for a grand multi-language release this summer.
