Naga Chaitanya is collaborating with director Karthik Dandu for the ambitious magnum opus Vrushakarma, which is gearing up for a worldwide release on December 4. The makers recently invited members of the press to visit the specially designed cave set, offering a glimpse into the scale, research and detailing behind the film.

The visitors were impressed by the realistic construction, which reflects the team's effort to create a convincing cinematic world without relying entirely on VFX. Director Karthik Dandu revealed that the team spent considerable time in pre-production, including developing miniature models of the sets, ensuring every element complemented the script, characters and emotions. He described Vrushakarma as a plot-driven adventure with treasure-hunt elements, promising grand sequences mounted on a larger-than-life canvas.

Chaitanya revealed that Karthik narrated the script to him over seven hours, convincing him of its potential. The actor said he had never spent so much time with a director on any film in his career, citing the extensive script discussions, workshops and research that preceded the shoot. The team reportedly spent around three months on research before moving ahead with set construction and filming.

Calling Vrushakarma a one-of-its-kind spectacle, Chaitanya expressed confidence that the film would be his career-best and biggest blockbuster. He also highlighted how realistic sets and challenging sequences encourage actors to push their performances further.

Produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar Writings, the film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the leading lady, with Sparsh Srivastav in a prominent role. Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music.
