Recently Mehreen wrapped up the shooting of Pantham in Canada and has been traveling to US for meeting her parents. However, she was welcomed by the officials of US Department of Homeland & Immigration when they came to know that she was an Telugu actress. She had been questioned for a long time before being left off. "I am shocked. It was so embarrassing. I was constantly traveling and wasn't aware of the emergence of news regarding such illegitimate activities. When I revealed that I was a Telugu actress, I was questioned for 30 minutes," said Mehreen speaking to a daily.
