Recently director Mani Ratnam wife made a controversial statement that only qualified people should review Mani Ratnam "OK Bangaram" (OK KANMANI) and this statement irked an outrage on social networks . Responding to his wife Suhasini Mani Ratnam remarks Mani Ratnam said that it is not necessary to interpret the way his wife said and she only spoke about professional criticism and requested people to extend their support.
He spoke that cinema is a public art and you cant stop people sharing opinions about and these will only help to improve for the next time considering it as a feedback .
