Lokesh Kanagaraj gives tribute to Rajini's classic

Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the biggest directors of Indian Cinema as he delivered monstrous blockbusters like Kaithi, Vikram, Master and Leo. While his Leo did not match the expectations, the movie did not spoil his image entirely. He is set to give a massive comeback with Superstar Rajinikanth's Coolie.
Interestingly, he also cast Akkineni Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shoubin Shahir, Satyaraj and even Aamir Khan in a cameo in the movie. Pooja Hegde did a special song in the film while Shruthi Haasan is also been cast in a prominent role. Adding to the excitement, the makers have released 100 Days countdown video, today.
In the video, Lokesh did not reveal any other actors faces except for Rajinikanth but he did give a big tribute to his classic film, Dalapathy/ Thalapathy. The sun shot has been captured by Lokesh in a different style. But there is a theory going around behind him not revealing others' faces.
It is said that the director wanted to showcase the big problem that Coolie, that is Rajinikanth, is going to face and how will he overcome it, in this short video itself. The movie is releasing on 14th August but Sun Pictures have started promotions very early. We have to wait for YRF's move for War 2.
