'Srimanthudu' Luck Will Not Repeat!!

Despite many big ticket entertainers ending up as cost failures, both directors, heroes and producers are not learning how to make a film in a limited setup, casting and budget. For example take the case of Koratala Siva's next film "Janata Garage" that has Jr NTR in the lead.

Already the makers have spent a bomb to build the Garage set in Saradhi Studios. Nearly 5 crores went into the making of this set designed by art director AS Prakash. And now, a house set is being built for the film with nearly 2.5 crores budget. If we say that Jr NTR is charging between 10-15 crores, Koratala is walking away with 5-10 crores, and heroines Samantha, Nitya Menon, super stars like Mohan Lal and Suhasini are all included, then just remunerations would cost 25-35 crores. Add 10 crores more for sets and 10 more for overall shooting. If the film is made in 55 crores budget, at what price producer will sell and how much the movie will make at box office?

Due to "Baahubali" effect, "Srimanthudu" made it large at box office, collecting nearly 80 crores share. But that will not happen all the time, even though if the film is a hit. Is Koratala Siva keeping in his mind about this?
