Content-Driven Films That Inspired Tarak

Jr NTR is literally moving away from 'mass' 'commercial' movies like Rabhasa and Ramayya Vastavayya. Agreeing that they are a mistake, Tarak stated that he is observing the need to move to content-driven films and dubbed his Nannaku Prematho as the first step.
"Grandpa (NTR Sr) acted as physically handicapped person in movies like Kalisi Unte Kaladu Sukham. Megastar Chiranjeevi did beautiful message-oriented film like Rudraveena. Nagarjuna was in Geetanjali, Shiva and Annamayya. There were all great movies. Somehow, me and my peers missed them. I want to push boundaries now and make movies that appeal to all", said NTR the other day.
In reality, it's a huge change coming from a biggest mass star like Tarak, who enjoys a great fan following from both masses and families.
