Superstar Rajinikanth is coming back as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, aka Jailer in the sequel, Jailer 2. The movie has huge expectations as it is a blockbuster movie sequel but Anirudh Ravichander soundtrack for the film did not really get universal applause. But the trailer gives an impression that it is a big blockbuster. 

The trailer is unveiled now and it looks like a massy cut. We see, the makers continuing story from the first film after Varma's death. The gangs above him are trying to catch Jailer, while he is working as a driver to a local politician. He finally, finds the people who form the syndicate and decides to collapse it all. 

 

Anirudh's score using pre-existing Jailer tracks and innovating on them works big time. The trailer cut highlights how the movie starts and where it is going but keeps the how and when of it as a surprise to be witnessed in theatres. Rajinikanth's swag and style is explored brilliantly yet again by Nelson Dilipkumar. 

But he makes Rajini wash the cars and as a driver being bullied and hit by the political gang. So, Nelson promises another transition of Rajini from a common man to a person whom everyone fears. Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjarmoodu, Mithun Chakraborthy look perfectly cast. The movie produced by Sun Pictures is releasing on 15th October.
