Hollywood legendary director David Lynch passed away on 16th January. His family shared this shocking update on the director's Facebook Page. The director has been known for his individualistic voice and filmmaking style. He never bowed down to any sort of pressures to make his films as he envisioned.

The 78-year old legendary filmmaker passed away due to emphysema, a chronic lung disease due to smoking for years. The director stated about his ill-health back in August 2024. Battling with the disease he passed on in his home. The director made films like The Elephant Man, Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive kind of classics.

He made many short films and TV Show Twin Peaks, has been hugely popular among his illustrious filmography. He made many web-series, commercials and acted in many films too. He worked with Naomi Watts for many films and she shared that her heart is broken losing her mentor on social media.
