Naga Chaitanya’s epic thriller Vrushakarma, directed by Karthik Dandu, has secured a major distribution boost with Dil Raju’s SVC acquiring the film’s theatrical distribution rights for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Apparently, the producer paid a huge price for this big budget film - highest ever in Chay's career.
The association comes amid growing anticipation for the film, with the recent press visit to its meticulously designed cave set offering a glimpse into the scale and detailing behind the ambitious project. Even non-theatrical rights have fetched high amounts recovering major amounts for the producers, say reports.
Naga Chaitanya has expressed strong confidence in Karthik Dandu’s script and execution, with the film being mounted on an epic scale by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar Writings. Dil Raju’s association adds further weight to the film’s theatrical prospects, given SVC’s established presence in the Telugu market.
Vrushakarma stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the leading lady, with Sparsh Srivastav in a prominent role. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 4. Naga Chaitanya is super confident about the film and releasing on Pushpa 2 date, makers are also expecting the same magic at box office.
