Deleted Song Event: A fun experiment for Sing Geetham

May 16, 2026

Legendary director Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao and producer Nag Ashwin have joined hands for an out-of-the-box musical experiment, Sing Geetham. The film explores a rare genre in Indian cinema where characters communicate entirely through songs. Recently, the makers hosted an event to release a lively track titled Hello Bossu, which was actually deleted from the final cut.

During the song launch, Nag Ashwin and actor Wamcee shared a few lighthearted moments regarding the deletion. Ashwin expressed that it is his honor for producing this bold new experience, calling it a genuine tribute to the 94-year-old director. He revealed that Singeetham originally pitched this very concept to Kamal Haasan four decades ago, before Pushpak, and it is finally coming to life now.

He further asserted that they connected while discussing about Mahanati, and even though he is busy with Kalki 2 works, he wanted to give back to Singeetham for inspiring generations of directors by bringing  his dream project to life.

Hello Bossu track perfectly introduces audiences to this fantastical village. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad showcases his versatility by composing the tune and co-writing the lyrics with Utthana Bharighat, turning normal everyday exchanges into a beautiful track.

Wamcee exercises his vocals wonderfully, with R.P. Krishaang adding a playful touch at the end. Featuring Ahilya Bamroo, Ayaan K., and Shalini Kondepudi in leading roles, this unforgettable cinematic vision is set to amaze audiences worldwide when it releases on 11th June.
