Brahmotsavam was released amidst much fanfare, but it just could not live up to the expectations of the critics and the audience alike. It comes to light now that NTR has just missed being a part of this disastrous movie. Yes, you read it right! According to reports he was the first choice for the hero's role in the film. But he rejected it and it then went on to Mahesh Babu. Looks like Mahesh was not as smart in rejecting the film as NTR was!
