Sharwanand’s Bhogi has unveiled a special Raksha Bandhan poster that gives a glimpse into the emotional core of the film. While Sampath Nandi’s directorial is being promoted as a blood-fest action epic, the latest poster shifts focus to Ganga’s bond with his family and introduces a strikingly nostalgic world.
Sharwanand is seen in the role of Ganga alongside his sisters, sharing a simple moment as they break coconuts and ice apples. The period setting, earthy visual detailing and his rugged transformation recreate the feel of a 1960s village on the Maharashtra–Telangana border. The caption, “There is Only One Ganga But heart beats for FIVE,” further hints at the significance of his sisters and the emotional relationships driving the story.
Sampath Nandi is said to have built the film around grounded characters and intense emotions, with the family drama eventually leading into major action episodes. The team has already completed the interval and climax action sequences on a massive scale, suggesting that the emotional foundation will eventually lead to some high-intensity cinematic moments.
Produced by KK Radhamohan, Bhogi is currently in post-production, with the makers deliberately giving the VFX work sufficient time instead of rushing the process. Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi play the female leads. The release date is expected to be announced soon.
