Why Pakistan Wanted To Stall Bajrangi?

on Jul 23, 2015

Of course, most Pakistanis are fans of Indian superstar likes Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. But still the country of Pakistan will not allow all the Indian movies to hit cinemas in their country, most of the times fearing the content in Indian movies. They feel that some of Bollywood’s films are  anti-Islam and depict Pak as enemy and hence they stall the release.

Withstanding to the fact that Pakistani box office is nothing for Indian films, still big Indian films are bought out by enthusiastic Pak distributors for a release in their homeland. Recently Bajrangi Bhaijan was also bought in similar way and few scenes that are claimed to to have anti-Pakistani rhetoric are chopped out. Still the film release to stalled at any many places because Pakistani producers thought that their own movies are not getting enough theatres if movies of Salman Khan are around.

Pakistani film industry slotted two films, Bin Roye and Wrong No., for the Eid release with a big film from India is hitting their cinemas then it will be an unprecedented trouble. Anyway, after all the hiccups, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released in 80 centres in Pakistan, and houseful everywhere.
