Varsham Flavour Completely Changed

Here comes the first ever trailer of Hindi flick "Baaghi", which happens to be the official remake of Telugu hit "Varsham" that changed the careers of Prabhas and Trisha forever in Telugu industry. In Hindi version, Tiger Shroff and Shradda Kapoor are playing lead roles, while Telugu hero Sudhir Babu turned villain for the movie.

While the whole story of "Varsham" is retained in the Hindi movie, the backdrop is completely changed. Both the hero and heroine are Rebel fighters and when villain abducts the heroine to Bangkok, the whole story shifts there. While 'rain' is the flavour of Telugu film, in Hindi version too much of martial arts stunts dominated the scenario, thus making it a martial arts film.

Recently Mahesh's "Okkadu" is remade as "Tevar" with backdrop totally changed and the film flopped big time. Can this "Baaghi" click now with backdrop totally altered?
