The controversy surrounding actress and social media influencer Ashu Reddy has taken a dramatic turn following new statements from her father, Koyya Venkata Krishna Reddy. A cheating case was recently filed against Ashu by an NRI software engineer, Y.V. Dharmendra, who alleged that she defrauded him of over Rs 9 crore under the pretext of marriage. 

The police complaint stated that these funds were used to purchase luxury cars, gold, and properties in her name before she eventually refused the marriage proposal. While Ashu Reddy vehemently denied these allegations on social media and threatened legal action against those spreading false information, her father has now publicly addressed the issue. 

In a surprising television interview, he confirmed that his daughter did indeed receive financial support from the NRI. However, he introduced a fresh twist by blaming his estranged wife, claiming she encouraged Ashu's association with Dharmendra despite knowing he was already married. Furthermore, Venkata Krishna Reddy made severe counter-allegations against Dharmendra's family, accusing them of having connections to a call money mafia.

The Hyderabad Central Crime Station police have registered an FIR and are currently investigating the complex financial transactions. This unexpected statement from her own family member adds a complicated new layer to the ongoing legal battle.
