Is Project K adaptation of Mahabharata?

Rebel star Prabhas Project K is the centre of attention. Nag Ashwin directs the film, which is a sci-fi thriller. Big B Amitabh Bachchan and dazzling beauty Deepika Padukone feature in the film, which has a star-studded cast. For the first time in his career, Prabhas is romancing Deepika Padukone and sharing screen time with Amitabh Bachchan.

Nag Ashwin is doing everything he can to make Prabhas a global star. The involvement of Amitabh Bachchan in the film is now the subject of much discussion. According to rumours, Amitabh Bachchan will play Ashwathama in the film. The character Ashwathama, son of Dronacharya, from the Mahabharata inspired Amitabh Bachchan's role. Ashwathama is known to be immortal. Project K revolves around Ashwathama and his transformation over the years.

Insider sources claim that The Mahabharata is adapted throughout the film. Prabhas' character will have Kalki's traits.

Amitabh Bachchan fell in love with the role right away and granted his approval. The portions with Amitabh Bachchan were shot by the makers. On the Vyjayanthi Movies banner, Ashwini Dutt is producing the film lavishly.
