Pushpa: The Rise, in which Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Sunil play major roles, has surely cemented Icon stAAr Allu Arjun as a national superstar. After breaking box office records in theatres across India, the film has now smashed TRP ratings in all regions, with a major difference when compared to Bollywood blockbuster.

In terms of TRP ratings, the pan-Indian film from the south has surpassed Bollywood cinemas. Pushpa received 4.35 TVR in HSM Urban, Sooryavanshi received 2.7 TVR, and 83 received 1.79 TVR. Pushpa received 3.79 TVR, Sooryavanshi received 3.18 TVR, and 83 2.11 TVR in HSM Urban Pay.

In HSM U+R, things are no different. Pushpa took first place with 4.23 TVR, followed by Sooryavanshi with 1.68 TVR and 83 with 1.07 TVR. This is another another example of how pan-Indian films with southern origins are making a big influence on Bollywood.

Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for Pushpa, and the songs peaked in multiple languages. Aside from Telugu and Maharashtra, the film directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers Muttamsetty Media was also a success in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.
