Updated : Nov 6, 2025

Mass ka Das Vishwak Sen has announced his funny collaboration with KV Anudeep, who made Jathi Ratnalu. The movie Funky, teaser looked fun and interesting as it offered whacky storytelling of the director with raw energy of Vishwak. Now, the makers have locked the release date as 3rd April, 2026.

Makers are calling it as a wild ride with bigger, louder and crazier gags. Currently, the movie shoot is going on and Kayadu Lohar, is playing the leading lady role. Vishwak Sen is playing the role of a director within the film, sporting an exciting new look and attitude.

The Million dollar question is that both Vishwak and Anudeep need a big blockbuster comeback in theatres. Previous year, turned out to be abysmal for the actor with Laila, being his most trolled and highly criticised film. He needs this new-age comedy to stick with audiences like Jathi Ratnalu.

On the other hand, Anudeep did not meet the expectations with Prince starring Sivakarthikeyan, while some sequences have developed good fan following. It is important for him and the actor to deliver a Funky Comeback at the box office for Summer 2026 season. Even producer Naga Vamsi needs a turnaround after recent setbacks like Kingdom and Mass Jathara. Let's see how it performs.
