Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda's apparent collaboration for an upcoming film has sparked the interest of the industry. Confirming all rumours, the makers finally launched VD 11 with an opening ceremony pooja at Mythri Movie Makers office.

The event was attended by blockbuster directors Harish Shankar, Koratala Siva, Director Bobby and Buchi Babu Sana. Vijay was apparently on vacation before he returned to Hyderabad for the film's launch. Regular shoot starts in Kashmir from April 25.

More information regarding the film is being kept under wraps for the time being. The latest news is that Hesham Abdul Wahab, a famous Malayalam music director, has been roped in for Music. Hridayam, his most recent sensational work, became a musical blockbuster.

Shiva Nirvana, of 'Ninnu Kori', 'Majili', and 'Tuck Jagadish' movies, will direct the movie. The project is bankrolled by top production house Mythri Movie Makers.
