Films like Baahubali, Srimanthudu, Rudramadevi and moves of some big stars have literally played with the fate of many small films. Because these biggies have no clarity over when their films release, and that confuses others from fixing a release date. For the sake of above said films, many small budgeted films have waited with baited breath such that they could ensure a smooth release and promotion of theirs. All these acts of biggies are soon going to end.

Telugu Producers Council has finally decided to stop this cat-mouse-chase of release days and theatres. A biggies has to now lock a date and stay to it. By any chance, if they miss out the release date, they have to wait for at least 5 weeks to get next release date. There is no question of postponing the film's release by a week. And this move comes into effect from January 1st 2016 onwards. So, beware biggies, your release day gambling are not going to work now.
