Recently director gave clarity about the Republic dequel, He took Twitter to express this news to moviegoers. He wrote "Touchdown SFO: writing/family time!! Didn’t narrate any story or idea to any producer/hero yet, just toying with different ideas/genres!! REPUBLIC2 is on cards but will pursue only after exploring one or two other popular genres in between."

This news certainly excited everyone, and we will have to wait and see if Devkatta will cast Sai Dharam Tej or another hero.
