Thalapathy 67 will be part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe?

Until recently people used to ask what genre Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming flick Thalapathy Vijay will be. Another question has been added to the mix. Does this film fall under LCU? Or not? After Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram,' everyone in Kollywood is raving about LCU. That refers to Lokesh Cinematic Universe. According to speculations, the upcoming film starring Vijay would also fall under this category. Although this rumour circulated in the past, it has recently resurfaced.

Lokesh's cinematic universe started with Karthi's 'Khaidi.' But no one realised that at the time. It was assumed that the film would have a sequel. However, numerous films will be linked to that film. Nobody could have predicted that the story, characters, and portrayals would be included in other films and called as Lokesh's Cinematic Universe. However, after the release of the film 'Vikram,' Dilli's character from 'Khaidi' was added in it, and the truth was revealed.

Lokesh will soon be in a film with Vijay. Is this movie also classed as LCU? When asked in the meantime, Lokesh replied, 'It may or may not happen.' However, according to the most recent information, this film will also be classified as 'LCU.' This means that it will feature characters, references, voices, and appearances from the 'Khaidi' and 'Vikram' films.

But there's something else here that's worth noting. Lokesh has written the role of a gangster with full power for Vijay's film, similar to Rayappan in 'Bigil.' According to reports, Vijay and Lokesh would begin work on the film following the completion of 'Varasudu.'
