Due to it's unique storyline added to that Naga Chaitanya& Samantha's performance is plucky. So Naga Chaitanya is giving tough competition for other stars in the list. So there's a high possibility for Naga chaintanya sweeping CineMAA Best Hero Award.

2) Balakrishna for the movie, Simha

Balakrishna for the movie Simha: After delivering serious of flops Telugu Cinema actor Balakrishna returned with a bang and whooshed record number of collections with Simha. An action packed entertainer pulled many masses to theatres. So one might expect an award for his performance.

3)NTR for the movie, Adhurs

NTR for the movie Adhurs: NTR performance in Adhurs movie impressed many audiences as NTR essayed double role in it. His second role as a priest even dominated comedy king Brahmanandam. It can be justified that NTR had done justice to his two roles.  

4)Prabhas for the movie, Darling

Prabhas who completely lost his sheen once has got back again with impressive lover boy character. This is one of it's kind that Prabhas never portrayed this sort of role. Though it stood behind in grabbing collections but managed to bring audience back to the theatres.

5) Allu Arjun for the movie, Vedam

 Allu Arjun's first multi-starrer movie proved to be a bummer. Though his performance is good but couldn't manage to pull collections as well as audiences.
