Puri Jagannadh: Allu Arjun came up with the Liger core idea because he thought the protagonist needed a defect (Stammering), and we discussed it during Iddarmmayilatho.

Sukumar: I wanted to work as an assistant director under you sir following the success of Badri's film, but it didn't work out.

Sukumar: Following its release, the film Idiot became a hot topic in director circles. How he came up with those new scenes in such a distinct style, and how Raviteja's attitude "Chanti gadu Local" has influenced many filmmakers. As a director, I was strongly influenced by the film Idiot. There, I learned how to write a story with strong characterization.

Sukumar: Why do you make orphans and struggling characters your protagonists?

Puri Jagannadh: They win battles because they know how to exist in the world and go anywhere.
