Updated : Sep 6, 2017

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Spyder business has been closed in all the areas in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. As we reported earlier, Spyder Tamil rights fetched Rs 25 crores to producers. Latest update is the film’s Kerala rights were sold for Rs 1.3 crores and GST is additional burden for the buyer. Interestingly, Spyder Ceded rights still remained unsold.

In fact, Mahesh Babu’s business stamina is not up to the mark in mass area like Ceded, compared to other star heroes in Tollywood. Since, Spyder makers are demanding huge amount, distributors are not daring to invest more than Mahesh Babu’s market value in the territory. It is to be seen whether Spyder makers lessen the price or dare to release on own in Ceded zone.

Spyder film unit has released Malayalam version first look teaser today and response the teaser is immense. Meanwhile, the production unit is busy with post-production works, as release date deadline is not far away. Spyder which has Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah and Bharath in lead roles will grace the big screens on 27th September.
