Tollywood sexy siren Shriya for the first time is doing a heroine oriented film in Telugu- ‘Pavitra.’ She is acting as prostitute in this film said the director Janardhan Maharshi. “This film is based upon a real life story. How a lady struggles in her life that finally makes her a politician is the basic story line of our film. Shriya’s prostitute role has been projected from a different angle in this film,” said the director.

Pavitra has been made in Telugu, Tamil and in Malayalam languages simultaneously. This film is releasing on June 7th. Sadak Kumar and Sai Mahesh Reddy co-produced this film.

Actually, Shriya is struggling in her real life also to bag film. Her last film was Shekar Kammula’s ‘Life is beautiful.’ Later, there were no films from her. Recently, she got a offer to pair with Nagarjuna in his ‘Manam’ film, but she is disappointed to see the film postponed to July. So, Shriya has pinned all her hopes onto this Pavitra movie, with which she expecting a rise in her career.
