The police have arrested award winning Malayalam director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan. Manju Warrier, an actress, lodged a complaint, and the director was arrested. Sanal Kumar was arrested by police in Neyyattinkara, Kerala. On Wednesday, she complained that she was being blackmailed and harassed in various ways. In a police complaint, Manju Warrier stated that he was posting social media platform in a way that would degrade her reputation.

Following a complaint by Manju Warrior, police in Kochi have filed a case against Sanal Kumar at the Elamakkara police station. Prior to his arrest, Sanal Kumar went live on Facebook and made many significant points. He confessed that his life was in chaos and that he was being harassed in some way. Sanal Kumar, who was arrested, was taken into custody and sent to Kochi by police.

The issue occurred when the film 'Kayattam,' directed by Sanal Kumar Shashidharan and starring Manju Warrior, was set to be released. Sanal Kumar has stated on several occasions that actress Manju Warrior has become a puppet in the hands of people and that she is in danger. Furthermore, she made serious allegations against her managers Binesh Chandran and Binu Nair.
