Regional films wins big at 68th National Awards

As part of the National Film Awards, which the national government presents annually to the best movies released in the nation, the list of winners for the year 2020 was recently revealed. This time around, the National Film Awards recognised the states of Uttarakhand, UP, and Madhya Pradesh as being film-friendly.

 

However, 15 regional language films have taken home awards in this announcement of the 2020 National Film Awards. The following is a list of the top film awards that the central government has announced will be given out in 2020.

 

Best Telugu Film – 'Colour Photo'

Best Choreography – Sandhya Raju (Natyam)

Best Makeup Artist – Rambabu (Natyam)

Best Music Director – SS Thaman (Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo)

Best Actor – Suriya (Soorarai Pottru), Ajay Devgn (Tanhaji)

Best Actress – Aparna Balamurali (Soorarai Pottru)

Best Movie – Soorarai Pottru (Sudha Kongara)

Best Feature Film - Soorarai Pottru

Best Back Ground Score - GV Prakash Kumar 

Best Director – Sachidanan (Ayyappanum Koshiyum)

Best Supporting Actor – Biju Menon (Ayyappanum Koshiyum)

Best Audience Movie – Tanhaji

 

Director Sudha Kongara and Suriya blockbuster film 'Soorarai Pottru' wins big at 68th National Awards. Small Film Colour Photo directed by Sandeep Raj creates sensation by bagging National Award for Best Telugu Film in 2020.

 

Surprisingly Kuchipudi Dancer Sandhya Raju's Natyam wins Two National Awards. Best Choreography for Sandhya Raju and Best Makeup Artist for TV Rambabu.
