Despite average reviews, we hear that Bollywood's star hero Salman Khan is delivering another hit now. His yesterday's release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has shattered all previous records of his own films if trade reports are to be believed.

"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" grossed a whopping Rs. 40.35 crore on the opening day itself. Salman Khan’s previous release 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' had grossed Rs. 27.25 crores on the opening day, and now that makes Salman beat his own record. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film's collections will go up if we take Telugu and Tamil versions into compilation.

On the other side, now Prem Ratan Dhan Payo aims at breaking many other records due to its long weekend advantage as the film released on Thursday.
