‘Patang,’ produced by Cinematic Elements and Rishaan Cinemas and directed by debutant Praneeth Prattipati, is a first film in indian cinema to have a sports film in the backdrop of Kite Flying Competition. 

‘Patang’ is said to be high on humor, and the nativity, Secunderabad Basthi backdrop will be fresh for Telugu audience. Instagram sensation Preethi Pagadala, Zee Saregama Runner-up Pranav Kaushik, and Vamsi Pujit are playing the lead roles, along with many more debutants making their debut with the film.

Singer S.P Charan, who previously appeared in films like ‘Saroja,’ is making a comeback with this film, and his role is expected to be one of the highlights. ’30 Weds 21′ fame Jose Jimmy is composing the music.
