Home  »  News  »  Only 2% Watched!! But Why Is It A Shock?

Updated : Nov 19, 2015

It is being highly publicised that "Bajrangi Bhaijan" has been watched only by 2% of Indians though the film has collected nearly 300 crores 'gross' from the box office. And some corporate players are publicising this as an act where 50% of Indians don't have access to theatres.

Does that sound silly, expecting 100% of Indians to watch every movie released. It's not the question of how many theatres, but how many people will have money to buy tickets and watch the film. It's not the lack of infrastructure that is depriving people of watching movies, but it's their financial status. It's no shock that only 2% Indians have watched the film in theatres, because there  are no toilets and other basic infrastructure for Indians in the first place, if not movie theatres.

Sometimes, these Corporate companies sound insane with their findings.
