It was supposed to be youngster Akhil's day, as "Akhil" is originally scheduled for October 22nd, Vijaya Dasami, release. But seriously the film is out of the race due to technical issues and that's making many other films run with open mouths for that date.

Kalyan Ram is yet to announce that 22nd is date, but he's seriously trying for theatres. Anchor Omkar's latest directorial venture "Raju Gari Gadhi" is the surprise entry in the scene. Another new entrant for this 22nd mad rush is Sumanth Aswin who is coming up with "Columbus". Suddenly an empty slot is found, and these films are trying to grab their share of it. Who will make the most?

Cinema critics feel that Dasara is the best bet but if a film hits screens on 22nd, there is only 4 days left in the holidays. Whoever could ring bells in that short period would be the hero and others have to walk for the pavilion.
