Tollywood's situation has now changed. Because the audience isn't interested in going to the movies, many films earn positive reviews but don't make money. However, some films seem poised to defy this rule. One of these films is the much-anticipated pan-India release "Karthikeya 2," starring Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran.

Director Chandu Mondeti and actor Nikhil have high hopes for this sequel. And just a few days ago, the filmmakers and hero announced that the film's release date, which was meant to be this month, has been pushed back. Perhaps in the first week of August, but the rumour presently is that this release is close. According to this, the film could be released on July 29th. Official clarification is still pending.

The film was postponed in order to give Naga Chaitanya's Thank You, directed by Vikram K Kumar, a solo release on July 22.
