The much-anticipated pre-release event for Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1 is set to become a major cinematic spectacle, with Jr.NTR confirmed to attend as the Chief Guest. The grand event will be held in Hyderabad on September 28th, just days before the film’s multi-lingual release on October 2nd.

This move underscores the warm brotherhood that has blossomed between the two stars. The connection was recently cemented during NTR's visit to his mother's birthplace in Karnataka, where Rishab Shetty extended warm hospitality, forging a close friendship.

With the first Kantara having achieved massive pan-India blockbuster status, expectations for the prequel, backed by the renowned Hombale Films, are sky-high. NTR’s star power is expected to significantly enhance the film’s reach, especially in the Telugu States.

Rishab Shetty stated that there are huge surprises and cinematic moments just like Kantara first one in the prequel. He also stated that he is thrilled to see audiences fill up the theatres for this film as it is close to his heart. He worked 5 years on the franchise and Hombale films are producing the films.
