Vetrimaaran directed Viduthalai Part 1 (2023) is a period crime thriller, that marked actor Soori's debut as a lead. Actor Vijay Sethupathi plays a pivotal role in this story, and the movie became blockbuster in both Tamil and Telugu.

Now, the film's sequel Vidudala Part 2, is one of the eagerly awaited films. Both the fans and trade circles are inquisitively inclined towards releasing Vidudala Part 2. It has now been officially announced that the Vidudala Part 2 first look will release on today at 11: 30 AM.

Both Viduthalai movies are a joint production venture of RS Infotainment, and Vetrimaaran's Grass Roots Film Company. The films have music by Ilaiyaraaja. The film also stars Soori, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kishore, Rajiv Menon, and others in important roles.
