Updated : Sep 15, 2025

Teja Sajja starrer Mirai has taken a blockbuster opening in the first weekend. The movie is captivating audiences with its unique blend of mythology, history, and stunning visuals. The film's grand scale and exceptional VFX, achieved on a controlled budget, have taken Telugu cinema pride to the world.

Mirai has delivered a phenomenal box office performance, grossing a huge Rs. 81.2 crores in its opening weekend with housefull shows across the board. In North America, the film collected US$1.7 million and has already entered profit zones. On Monday, it remained steady in Telugu States while North America saw a dip.

The strong momentum is continuing into the weekdays as even Tuesday bookings also look good. Analysts predict a strong run until the next major release. TG Vishwa Prasad is happy that after many box office flops, they got a success while Karthik Ghattamneni also came out of Eagle disaster.

Teja Sajja has continued his success streak with Mirai after HanuMan. He is growing as a box office star and the actor has already accepted few big superhero movies. He needs to be mindful about not becoming typecast.
