For any star director or hero, series of flops are surely going to affect the box office possibilities and also trade circuits will not be ready to invest on them heavily. That now applies to certain star writers too.

The duo of Kona Venkat and his long term associate Gopi Mohan have projected themselves as saviours of commercial cinema when movies like Pandaga Chesko and Loukyam got some success. But their stamina proved something else in 2015, with five films flopping in a row. Including biggies like ‘Akhil’ and ‘Bruce Lee’ other films like ‘Shankarabharanam’, ‘Tripura’ and recently ‘Soukyam’ have flopped box office. All are own entitites of Kona Venkat, while Gopi worked for few.

And then, "Dictator" is the upcoming movie of this writers duo. No doubt, it's a bone cracking moment now.
