Updated : Dec 29, 2015

In Chennai, various plans are underway to stop killing of Veerappan as planned by Ram Gopal Varma on January 1st 2016. His "Killing Veerappan" movie that deals with killing of the notorious red sander smuggler is being stalled in various ways.

A petitioner Pannerselvi has today lodged in court that the release of RGV's "Killing Veerappan" should be stopped. Because she feels that RGV would have insulted Tamil culture inside the movie, and also it has wrong information that could lead to law and order problem in the state. Also she mentioned that Karnataka police are shown in high manner in the film than Tamils.

Well, at a time when a notorious criminal like Veerappan is being shown on screen, now Tamils do claim that he is a Tamilian and Karnataka police should not be portrayed high. But more than a Tamilian, Veerappan is a criminal— When do people realise that?
